Tonight, we hosted Bishop Milner in the Jr.NBA league. The group played with great grit and determination to see us over the line. First quarter we took an early lead with some good long-range shooting from Marley and perfect lay-ups from Hargurleen. The game was very tight in the second quarter with Bishop Milner dragging back the score to 10-10.
Third quarter, Bishop took the lead with some lazy man to man marking on our part, but we will learn from this! Going into the last quarter knowing we needed to pull out a tough fightback, our player of the match, Mebest, grabbed it by the hands and saw us home with some fantastic defending to regain possession and a fantastic long-range effort to score! He was on fire!
The team carried themselves fantastically!
