In line with national Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, the Local Authority are no longer asking schools to consider COVID-19 in their risk assessments or to have a specific risk assessment in place.  COVID-19 will remain a public health issue and guidance for educational settings has been replaced with public health advice.  The Local Authority continue to expect schools to comply with the requirements for cleaning, ventilation and welfare facilities in the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992.
