On February 10th our school will be holding a democracy day. All students will be given the opportunity to vote during the day. The vote will be supported by the Local Authority and is a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn about and actively experience democracy.
Our student, William Gosnell, is standing as a candidate for Wolverhampton Youth MP and has been busy canvassing for students votes today. His campaign is based on a platform of mental health awareness and global issues. William’s confidence and sincerity has had a huge impact on our students and he has been met with chants of ‘VOTE FOR WILL!’ as he visits different classrooms.
We are all extremely proud of William for having the courage and confidence to stand.
