Oddballs Foundation

Today we had the Oddballs Foundation in school to deliver a Testicular Cancer awareness session to boys in years 9 to 11. Did you know that Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer in men aged between 15 – 49? Around 2300 men are diagnosed with Testicular Cancer each year in the UK and we wanted the message about the importance of self checking to be shared with our students in a positive way.

Josh, the Oddballs University Ambassador, shared some vital and potentially life saving information with our students today. By the end of the session our students could answer key questions about signs and symptoms, how to self check and what to do if they felt anything unusual.

Thank you Oddballs for helping to raise awareness about the importance of male health!
