Last week our theme of the week was Diwali. This was a fantastic opportunity for the whole school to learn more about the religions of Hinduism and Sikhism and what Diwali means to each of them. Students across school were treated to an assembly that was led by some of our fantastic students in year 11 - Namita, Chaaya, Kamelpreet and Harpreet. They did an amazing job of inspiring our younger students with their confidence and knowledge. Students across school were then able to test their new knowledge by taking part in a class quiz about Diwali during form time. Last week was a great example of our students showing respect for other people’s faiths and beliefs.
